There is a point in the valve drill that makes me uncomfortable -- when you disconnect the long hose and plug it into the block, then turn off the left post, and use the block to shift to the right post. What if it does not work? I suggest before turning off the left post, after you have plugged the long hose into the block then switch it to ensure it works. Then switch back, and turn off the left post and proceed as normal.
