There is a moment that foreshadows the ending. Sal is testing the barking device talking to Turk and says he gets the Susan B. Anthony at the airport. He says would you be put through that for $10 000 000 and Sal says no, I’d do it for 11 mil.

When I was 3 years old my grandfather bought me a 3 piece suit and took me to meet Frank Sinatra. He introduced me and Frank shook my hand. Guess I'm never allowed to piss off George Clooney. Edit: it seemed very important to my grandpa that I meet him. Don't know if this is why... but it's fun to think it is....

The ending at the airport with Clooney, Pitt and Damon was funny because the way they all said goodbye to each other were references to the actors real lives. For example when Danny told Rusty to “settle down, have a couple of kids” he was referring to how Brad and Angelina Jolie had recently adopted and conceived like 3 or 4 kids at that point.

Ellen Barkin is the name of the actor who played Al Pacino's assistant. She's been active since the 80s, and had a breakout role as a murder suspect in "Sea of Love"...starring Al Pacino! Other good movies to see her in are "The Big Easy" with Dennis Quaid and "This Boy's Life" with De Niro & DiCaprio. A personal favorite of mine is "Johnny Handsome" with Mickey Rourke, Morgan Freeman and Forest Whitaker.

My favourite little detail from this film is that they might've turned Terry Benedict into a good person at the end, completely by accident. Also, there were plans for Steven Soderbergh to make an "Ocean's Fourteen" where everyone would be brought back for one final film, but he refused to make it after the passing of Bernie Mac as it wouldn't be the same without him.

March 1999, on the south coast of England (not even 10 miles from where I grew up), an entire lighthouse and lodgings were moved 55 feet back from the cliff. Between 1850 and 1870 the ENTIRETY of downtown Chicago was raised to make room for modern (for the time) sewers after a major cholera epidemic swept through the population as a result of stagnant water caused by the city's low-lying location on the shore of Lake Michigan. Buildings were routinely moved to higher elevation between 2-6ft, whilst other buildings were relocated entirely, shipped down the streets as a single unit to new sites several blocks away, with people still working and dining inside.

Bob Einstein (who played Linus' father) is best known to the general public for his character Super Dave Osborne whom he started portraying in the mid-'80s. In the industry however, he is far more lauded as being a prolific comedy sketch writer in the '60s and '70s. Particularly on the Smothers Brothers show. Cheadle's daredevil motorcycle stunt character in this movie is a nod to Super Dave Osborne as that character was a spoof of Evel Knievel.

I haven't been to Vegas but I worked casinos in Biloxi Mississippi and New Orleans louisiana, and they bringing fresh dice and fresh decks of cards every shift change or whenever the pit Boss thinks it may be necessary. In fact many places you can buy casino used cards with holes punched through them so they cannot be reused in the casino. They are pretty much brand new but have a hole in them and are cheaper.

The "earthquake machine" was a tunnel drill. The same thing, only smaller, that they used to build that Chunnel tunnel, from England to France.

I live down the street from the Taipei 101 building, which currently has the fastest elevators in the world. It takes only a few seconds to go from level 1 to level 88. They are actually faster going up than going down.

My biggest beef with 12 is that the gang gradually got locked up (Bernie Mac first WTF?!) and so we didn't get to see them as much or together. Which is what made 11 and 13 so fun. I flip flop on which I prefer. Also RIP to Julian Sands who played Greco.

I will say, Bernie Mac got really sick (with what he said was double pneumonia) during the filming schedule of Ocean's 12 so they had to work around it, but I was very upset by that too before knowing that.

Have you seen White Collar? It’s a 6 season long TV show that I think you might enjoy. It’s got a little more social engineering and suave behavior than similar shows

23:40 When it comes to casino equipment measured for fairness in the hands of players, you want to swap them out (dice and cards) rather frequently, so that players cannot have a chance to mark or otherwise modify it to gain an edge. That's why earlier, the dice were in that spinning machine? Measured and tested to ensure uniform weight throughout the cube, to make sure a particular number doesn't come up more often than it should. If a player nicks or scratches it in the course of being a Craps shooter, this disturbs the weight distribution and can cause non-uniform performance, so they're VERY rigid and strict about it.

The "earthquake machine" was just a small tunnel borer, and those are real. Of course they normally take more than one person to operate, and cost tens of millions to rent. But drive one into the foundations of the hotel and it could work as shown.

I like this one a lot more than Oceans 12. Pacino is great. If you want to see older Pacino having the best time ever - and Keanu Reeves - I HIGHLY recommend *The Devil’s Advocate* . It’s a wildly entertaining thriller.
