Hi everyone hope you are doing well. I wanted to share this amazing rose water recipe with you. If you love the smell of roses then you will definitely enjoy this recipe. I made this recipe using the distilling method because it gives you a very long shelf life for your rose water. Rose water has so many amazing benefits for the hair and skin but I will focus on some benefits for the skin. Rose water is anti-inflammatory and can treat skin irritations and reduce redness. It helps to maintain your skin PH balance and it hydrates the skin. It has anti ageing properties and can help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles . I made this using organic dried rose petals but organic fresh rose petals will work the best. I hope you try this out. How do we use a toner? Can spray it on out face after putting on face cream?

Can you make any type of toner or hydrosol using this method? Eg lavender, Cucumber, as long as the flower vegetable is dehydrated?

Yes you can . You can also use fresh herbs & flowers too using this method . The vegetable doesn’t have to be dehydrated .

Do you have to use the distilled water to dilute the rose water for the toner? Couldn't u just have added the oils to just the rose water and use it on your face?

It honestly depends on what you prefer. You don't have to dilute with distilled water. You can use the rose water on its own and just add the essential oils. Its quite fragrant though so I diluted it for that reason. Hope this helps . Thanks for watching

I didn't use a preservative with the distilled water but you can. The reason was I made a small batch with distilled water and I kept it in the fridge and used it up within 2 weeks. I always recommend using a preservative if you want to keep it longer
