Honestly revis is the best corner I’ve ever seen and it’s largely due to that 2009 and his 2014 season. Look at the WR he shut down…I’ve never seen that nor someone with his technique. Deion was naturally gifted and just better than most people he lined up against but revis was technician at its finest

Some DB's work the receivers and some work the QB's. I'd say Deion and Ed Reed had great coverage but their gift was playing the QB. Revis had receivers down to a science.

He played for a joke of an organization the prime of his career which ruined his chances with the media, while Deion played for Cowboys during his prime, the team the media loves to hype the most.

Word. Imagine being rex ryan at that time. Hes a historian. He knows very few cbs have ever truly been able to lockdown a wr at any point of the game. I believe out of his mouth and his brothers, only prime and aenas were able to do the same. Rex could essentially gameplan for 2/3 of the field instead of it all. A big reason those jets defenses were so good. If they ever had a great qb, they couldve been special
