Looks like a great product. I got burnt sleeping on a pad for heated gloves once, so temp settings are a bonus. Good luck to those that enter.

I sent mine back. According to the spec the 5200 version should last up to 8 hours when used on the lowest setting. Mine lasted 1 hour 45 minutes. It was no better than the cheap Chinese one I bought the year before.

I have difficulties charging these things. I plug it into a USB into a desktop computer but I find that it takes hours upon hours to actually fully charge. Any idea why? Am I charging it wrong?
@CampLifeBushcraft Жыл бұрын
I can only speculate that charging things from a desktop is generally slower that plugging it directly into a socket charger.

I use a lighter fluid hand warmer to stop my batteries and battery bank going flat in cold weather at night.... There's no flame, just a simple chemical reaction. So I find the idea of battery powered warmer somewhat bizarre and somewhat pointless...

I want one...and that is all, I just want one! Well actually, that may not be all, I have always suffered, if suffer is the correct term, with cold feet. Always have, I've never known anything else and not only cold feet, cold knees too for some reason. The rest of me can be like toast, but my flippin' feet will be like blocks of ice and that's even in summer! It wakes me up at night and can stop me from falling to sleep in the first place. Which brings me to my point (having just decided I have a point, in other words it's just occurred to me!) and my point is that I reckon if I'm not lucky enough to have my name 'drawn from the hat' it would be a wonderful Christmas gesture for all of my lovely, discerning, considerate, caring, kind and thoughtful fellow subscribers (grovel, grovel), to have a 'whip' round and get me one of these for Christmas. Just think how good that would make you feel, eh? Spreading the spirit of Christmas, partaking in a little festive group generousity. You know it makes sense, think of my poor feet...😉

Is it dangerous to charge with usbc chargers that are capable of higher outputs. (e.g. pixel phone fast chargers... my understanding is that these should feed correct power to devices smart enough to only take what they need/can handle.... I got this and it says no charger over 5v... I don't know what is 9v... chargers I see are rated by the amp output... not volt output... I hope I Can just plug this thing into any high quality USBC charger and it be OK...
@CampLifeBushcraft3 жыл бұрын
I believe this is fast charge compatible, but I would check the website for confirmation.
