Go dads! I often give my kids little weather lessons as things are occurring, like summertime thunderstorms interacting with a boundary on radar. The way I see it, we are inspiring the next generation of possible meteorologists! :)

You're a good dad! Mine wasn't that smart but he would always take his battery hand fan and put it out the window and say it was the cars turbo! We always laughed

I was trying to explain valley fog to my 10 yr old More complex than it seems, end up having to cover paths of least resistance, how temps stratify , but then you gotta explain the density piece and by then the kid is spaced out! 😅
