Thanks for the re-upload, much easier to follow. One q... with amigo how are you able to modify the volume for drum rolls? I don't seem to be able to map the doofer to midi control amigo's volume.

Two options. Either you turn on ‘VEL’ in amigo so velocity workings in the column in Renoise. Or you use inst.automation. Select volume - then automate that

Thanks for the re-upload. Great challenge, should do one with subscribers. Gonna challenge myself today on the polyend tracker I just got. Need to work with it more to get use to it, as it's much more limited then Renoise.

Cheers mate. Yea the polyend tracker would be cool for this. Even with 8 Tracks I agree it's still quite limited. I had one for a while & enjoyed it but Renoise is the one for me :) ✌️

You can save any third party plugin in Renoise in that window. :)

@@groovining Yes that's really good. But we still need presets though, I think I got frustrated as I started slicing inn Reaper, then realised it would be as good to use i Renoise, but the had to redo all my slicing. Good thing is I can both save it in Renoise and Reaper, but it's more work.

With Renoise & Logic I can usually save the presets as .aupreset format and then load them for either so it works really well :)

You want a quick way? Put two amen loops in separate channels chopped and arranged as you like. Put them both into stereo and it should make them phase. Now get a 808 and down pitch it add distortion and low pass filter it. That’s literally it. If a person needs any more advice on what to do after then this already too much knowledge.

Putting an identical Amen in stereo or mono (it's irrelevant) on two seperate channels in a DAW will not make them Phase. It will simply increase the audio signal by 6dB. However, putting an identical amen on two different tracks which are triggering a hardware sampler will make them phase as there is some subtle midi jitter & delay between the two channels. Photek, Dillinja, Source Direct, Optical & Ed Rush, Artemis/Shogun, LTJ Bukem & literally every other amazing jungle & DnB artists did so much more than distorting 808s.
