Is the mix node you added in the compositor at the end basically equivalent to using the blend value in the denoiser panel itself? Only that it's non destructive that way?

hello i have a problem, my scene is dark in some parts and i have 4/5 lights illuminating a realistic face with SSS. But when I run the render, the denoiser doesn't seem to work much leaving a good part of the image with a lot of noise, especially on some of them. What can I do?

I think you just need to make sure the Denoise beauty pass is exported when you render, I think it automatically does that when you enable the denoiser.

@@AlexPearce3d Thank you, it worked! I had to enable the "Octane Output" at the Output properties, they weren't enabled by default in my perticular case.
