Yes absolutely. In the latest version you can even mix operating systems!

Question please. If I connecting my server with 6 GPU, my scene is rendering with network 6 + 2 (in my main pc) = 8 GPU?? Or just in network server 6 gpu-s?

Great video, thanks alex. I have the 29.99 enterprise tier do I need another enterprise sub for the second PC since you cant active both PCs at the same time?

Nope! You can have any number of render nodes with only one enterprise license! You log in with your otoy account, and then it knows you have an enterprise account.

@@AlexPearce3d Thanks AP found out the way, seems know you don't need 2 enterprise accts but you do have to pay 10$ for the node if your using a 2nd PC for your network rendering.

can you install render nodes on computers that are not on a local network like a cloud service with linux?

Hmm I don’t think so. If you haven’t tried Otoys cloud render network, it’s pretty amazing! Likely cheaper/faster than spinning up your own cloud rendering

Everything worked up til the point where I had to click "Install" on the node machine... when I go to windows, type "Octane" and click "install" nothing happens... it's like the run, install, uninstall links don't do anything, I've uninstalled and re-installed Octane several times, still nothing. These options work on the main machine, just not the "node" machine(s)...any ideas?

No it’s like if you have more than one computer and you want to render on all of them locally (no cloud cost or anything)

Weird Issues I'm having. I've tried 2021.1.3 through 2021.1.5 standalone, but I can't actually find the Daemon's anywhere on my machine. It's like they aren't getting installed with the standalone?
