Downpipe not just for making pops, a remapped car makes more air intake thus more combustion and more fuel burn obviously, so need a bigger down pipe to shut out the exhaust gases. It is needed i guess

Hi, if we are using the Alpine iLX-F509E HU, then the HDS-990 receiver is necessary for hi-res audio setup?, Or the 509 HU can do the same functions in that receiver also?

Depends on what your media and source is, if its off a usb then ilx can play , if its off a DAP then you need the hds-990
