This particular group reminds me of Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention - one person with a vision that can only be realized by prodigy-like players who amassed even more talent and experience over the years. Got too used to Vic doing all the crazy bass licks as a front man. So seemed a bit odd at first...Then seeing him just support the music proves his composure as one of the greatest musician of our time. He just plays to the music with so much respect. Being so very skilled musicians it looks to me that their inspirations are bands such as Dream Theater and Nightwish who also mix genres entirely depending on what they wish to express. And then Hovak bringing in traditional Armenian instruments. This brings an entirely other flavor to it. Just like Dimash as the next generation also plays western style but often brings in traditional elements. Well done
