It truly is tiring doing bugger all, it is no wonder that all of us who actually have a job feel absolutely wonderful at the start of the working day as we do at the end of it - it is only by doing nothing that you truly know what tired is.

Superstars shouldn't have to tolerate the pressures of mundane prole life. That's just for idiots who chose to work for a living. Thing is, doing absolutely nothing *will* make you feel drained because your mind and body go into hibernation mode assuming neither are needed. Then making the slightest effort feels like a major chore. There's a very effective antidote to this strangely enough.

No wonder she's so knackered, grifting is HARD work! Who's going to look after the boys when she's headlining the Edinburgh Fringe?!

She's certainly proved it's a full-time job, never pausing to draw breath! Following trending mental health gimmicks alone is draining. Then you need really stronk knees to hop aboard the next bandwagon before it whizzes by.

It's interesting how so many people these days feel the need to have music constantly playing wherever they go and whatever they're doing, seemingly regardless of what that music actually is. Unfortunately we do have music (constantly) at our local swimming pool. Feels like it's inescapable, whether you're at the supermarket or the hairdressers or in a doctor's or dentist's waiting room. And now people are bringing their own bluetooth speakers to the park or to campsites or into their gardens for everyone else to listen to. Am i the only one who finds this massively irritating and depressing? Sorry for the rant. I guess Octavius "triggered" me lol.

I'm a grown man (well, technically) that enjoys living with anxiety, ADHD and other delightful "quirks" autism has to offer. I also suffer from chronic back pain. You know what? I'm able to work full time to support my family and pets, without receiving handouts from anyone. And yes, I go almost everywhere listening to music. I invested in this new fancy technology called "earbuds" so only I hear my music. They're decent ones, but not overly expensive, but there's no sound leakage to annoy anyone standing behind me at the shops. Also, thanks to the pain and medication, I'm constantly knackered. Like, literally knackered. Just so bloody literally knack... Sorry 😉

@@PikaStu666 i wish more people were like you and invested in this magical "earbud" technology of which you speak!

@@Jambon_Emmental I spent a few years as a bus driver after the construction industry collapsed here around 2010. I lost count of the number of folk I had to have words with for playing music on their phones, or even using terrible earphones that leaked sound so much the rest of the bus could hear the music louder than they could! Looking back, I should've just sat on my fat arse feeding my pets cake and complaining about being knackered...

I think any music played out loud in public is a recipe for irritation/backlash given that everyone has their own preference and you can't please them all, all of the time. Best not to bother trying if you manage a shared space of whatever sort. You have to feel sorry for the staff in particular if they're forced to endure the same thing on a constant loop with no escape. I'm always listening to something through Bluetooth earbuds, but it's rarely music. I'd rather take podcasts and scripted videos with me on commutes. Regarding the swimming without music issue, I know you can get waterproof earbuds with built-in MP3 storage now so even that's possible. Some smartphones claim to be totally waterproof too. Never tried any of these options personally though. I always found swimming really boring so haven't done it for years.

Sounds like you've got it easy there to be honest. At least you don't have to deal with Alpro custard shortages, PO box space limitations or Flapjack Shark glitches. ;)
