If you have never gone to a Voltaire show, you are MISSING OUT!!! Not only is he pretty darned nice to look at, he is amazingly talented, will have you memorizing every word to every song and hitting the merch table hard! He's so kind and personable with each fan, he's just amazing. (And he doesn't scare easily...proof was when, several yrs ago, I totally fan-girled when I saw him out walking amongst we mere mortals at a con! He didn't even flinch! 😅) Go see him! I’m in Houston, see you at Steampunk November every year. Believe me, I’d love to see you in Houston more-I’ve just had bad luck this year with the dates you’ll be here. We were planning to go to the show in July-then my husband ended up in the hospital with kidney stones. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This time, my friend is coming from up north for a week to visit & we have tickets for the renaissance festival that day. Hopefully, next time I’ll have better luck with the timing! ❤

Have fun in Houston everyone! I have my eyes set on Austin one of these days... um, years... but hey, Houstonians, go out there, have a blast, and give our gothfather all the support you've got!! His shows are amazing and the other fans are always great to talk to (our fandom has the best fans, it's facts!). It always feels warm, inviting and intimate. Voltaire brings his energy, enthusiasm, storytelling and humor to the stage-- as well as all his great songs (a good mix of old and new so there will be stuff you can sing along to and new songs that will happily surprise you). Two decades later, I'm still left utterly starstruck by the end of the night despite how warm and personable Volty is and end up transforming myself into a giddy, babbling idiot. :D
