I know someone who was adopted soon after she was born when her birth mother was just turning 19, having plans to attend Teacher's College later in life finding out she had 2 more children

I am adamantly pro life and am discreet about my views because of the horrid hostility of those who are or label themselves pro choice. I've been assaulted threatened and had my personal property vandalized by those who declare that they supports so called women's rights. Abortion is an act of murder for a theoretical inconvenience. Something else Norma McCorvey, the roe in the roe versus wade decision, met the daughter she wanted to have aborted and lived out her days as a fanatical pro life activist. Women who are considering abortions please choose life you will feel better for it.

I know that every situation is different but from my point of view I find it hard to understand how a birth mum could reject her child even when she turned into an adult. It is understandable that sometimes circumstances make it hard for a women to bring up her child/ren as babies and she puts them into adoption so the baby/s can have a better life. But why reject as adults? Due to unfortunate circumstances I had to give up my twin girls to adoption. But I have always in my heart wanted to reunite with them. Now they are adults the girls have reunited with me and my oldest child(my son) and they too told me that they wanted to of met me all their lives. So for us that blood tie has always been there even though we were once strangers, but now we are no longer strangers :) Im delighted to have my girls back in my life

my point exactly: my friend has never had an opportunity to meet her now year old birth mom after finding her siblings on Facebook and my friend knows exactly where she lives, having this urge with 2 of her childhood friends to drive up and knock on her door - not only did she abandoned her for selfish reasons, she passed down a medical condition called "Bi-Polar II" which she herself suffers from and so did her father (my friend's maternal grand-father) Her birth mom eventually had her career in teaching elementary school children, married and had 2 more children who bought rejected my friend when she approached both of them on Facebook

This movie was made 13 years ago. Back then it was more believable that woman's new family would reject this "You lied to us - you had a Prior child?" scenario. Nowadays though, people would be more likely to accept their adult child. And see them as more of a gift

knowing she had another child and wasn't very receptive to Hannah, that makes me angry
