Thank you for your lovely videos Julie! I find your voice so….calming 💕. I love watching your videos as you explain your thought process! I initially started journaling/planner on blank pages and that did not last long - it was just too overwhelming for me. what I needed was a planner and a place to do braindumps. Fell in love with minimalistic planning ~ and that’s that. Watching your videos make me feel that planning shouldn’t be like “instagram” worthy..but what works for ME. 🥰

Maybe the term to describe the Stamp Market inks is “juicy”? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Love this video. Nervous about disassembling my 2023 planner/journal but definitely want it in discs rather than bound. Thanks for the inspiration!

Juicy is a good part of it, but the ink is almost sticky so it just feels really good (doesn’t slip when you apply it to paper like pigment ink can sometimes do for me). I’ll be nervous to do it again, too, but I have to say once it was complete, there were no regrets. You can do it! :D

I’ve never used a Hobonichi. Do Mildliners ghost or bleed on the paper?

I haven't used EVERY mildliner color in my hobonichi so I can't speak to all, but the mild gray works great!!

Love to see what you are doing in all of journals. I have 2 kids in college and one still in secondary school and they are all living at home. Still scheduling family stuff and trying to get a bit of decoration and memory keeping in along the way. Still using your monthly layout insert in my personal planner which I love. Can I ask where you got the plastic cover for your Hobonichi Techo? I’ve fallen down that rabbit hole for next year, so have been following all your tips with great interest!

Lovely to hear what you are up to. I love the no rules idea. I’ve never done a creative journal (I’d so overthink it 😩) but would love to a play around at some point. I’m curious why you use planner pages not blank paper? Life has been a bit crazy the last 6 weeks and I’ve just scribbled my plans on my weekly pages. I really want to get back on track after not journaling (broke my 2 1/2 yr cycle 😩) and tracking or doing my gratitude since beg Sept. We have a week at home, no school so hopefully I can have some time in my planner whilst our puppy sleeps (collecting her Mon). The desk looks dreamy 😍 Off to see if I can get stamp market ink in UK

Oh, fantastic question about why not plain paper and it’s the structure that is provided. Funny, because I don’t necessarily follow it but it’s there and I don’t have to create something from scratch every week. I’d rather tweak it than build it. 🤣 Also the dates are there so I don’t have to stamp them if I don’t feel like it. 😅
