I used to take art classes from a lovely woman in our town, every Wednesday a group of 8 to 10 ladies would get together at her home art studio. We would freestyle paintings, have tea and snacks and it was so much fun! Watercolor is always my favorite! Beautiful fall video Jennifer ❤🍂

Jennifer, it sounds like you are enjoying fall! Thank you for the beautiful video, as always! I am a watercolor artist and live in Ventura County, California. I have been painting for over 10 years and I am learning something new every time I sit down to paint. I used to belong to an art group where we would sit down, have tea and paint and it was delightful! My teacher was a very good local artist. The teacher has since moved on, but I keep learning through the magic of online courses. I am a member of the Valley Watercolor Society (it is in the San Fernando Valley) and a local artist society. If you are interested in watercolor, you probably have a watercolor society in your area. It is one of the best places to find a teacher that you can learn painting from. It will be worth every second!

We have had a magical autumn at our home. We have a small house in a wooded area, lots of oak trees which means lots of acorns. For 2 weeks at dusk we have had a white tailed doe bring her 3 fawns into our front yard to eat the acorns. Our house is passive solar so the southern wall is mostly glass making wonderful viewing of the nature surrounding us. The deer could see us as well as we could see them. We would stand quietly so we could watch them as long as possible. The large fawns would drink my bird bath dry every day, of course I was happy to refill it. We must savor these unexpected magical moments when they come along. Thanks Jennifer.

@@TheDailyConnoisseur One afternoon Mother Doe came alone. The western sun was slanted at a sharp angle so we could see she had long whiskers hanging down from her muzzle, maybe 10-12” long. I was so surprised. My husband nicknamed her Whiskers. 🙂 She is a good mama, her triple fawns look wonderful.

There is so much to enjoy here, from your pretty nature walk in your beautiful outfit with Henry David Thoreau's "Autumnal Tint" excerpt (loved this piece!) and journal painting to seeing your newly-designed home, the floral arrangement, your mural party and even cleaning the refrigerator. It's a life well lived. Autumn is my favorite time of year and I love seeing the changing leaves so reminiscent of my days back in Ohio. We celebrate the season with pumpkins and I hand painted some happy faces with magic markers and sharpie pens along with white-out. Then, I added a cute black-and-white gingham bow to each pumpkin and gave them to neighbors, an elderly friend of my parents and another neighbor who was recently in the hospital. On a recent walk, I looked at the spiders and their intricately-designed webs in amazement. Someone mentioned how hard spiders work all night, only to have their webs destroyed by strong winds, but they rebuild every day! I didn't know about that lovely observation, and every season, as Thoreau writes, reminds us that nature is a wonderful teacher.

A lovely video. Beautiful and peaceful place to paint. In So. Utah where we live, we are covered for music, Shakespeare theatre and other concerts and plays. The University has a lovely little art museum with changing exibits. The best part is its only 5 to 10 minutes to these venues. Your brunch looked like so much fun and I love your dress.

Jennifer, i have to know how you did your hair both in the forest and when you went to brunch. Absolutely beautiful! Please do tutorials! Your hands, nails, and nail color are impeccable ❤ your skin, hair, and nails are just breathtaking throughout the video. I mean, is evan using a filter on your for the closeups in the forest? Eitherway, your skin and eyes are glowing! You're definitely doing something right and it inspires me ❤ the dress would also look nice with a velvet/velour jacket for evenings or once winter begins to match the shoes.

I was thrilled to see the gorgeous moonflower ! I have never seen one but I have the book How to Be a Moonflower by Katie Daisy on my bedside table this month. I highly recommend this book. It is filled with poetry and watercolor drawings exploring the natural world from dusk to dawn. I think you and your children would enjoy this book. Twilight , Dusk, Midnight , Dawn !

You are very brave to pain without an apron on! Id be terrified of ruining my clothes. Is that the new china you're using? I wish you shared the menu at the brunch & what you ate. Your plate looks yummy. You could try removing the label off the juice, it basically is a pitcher as is. 😅 Or you could do water bottles, and then pour the juice into the pitcher. Alot of the furniture shown in the shot from the dessert party looks similar to your bedroom decor. Ex. The large white mirror. Do you have multiple items of the same piece? Omg the poor bananas 😅😂😊
