P.S for your financial goals I highly recommend the Money Manager app. It's been an integral part of my finances setup for some months now and it helps to really keep tabs on your spending as well as budgeting and other things. It should also cater to your fierce categorizing tendency with the app giving you the ability to categorize expenses a whole lot. 🤗

Great video. Good luck. There's a cool app for budgeting, Mint. It's one time purchase. You can connect all the cards to automatically track expenses, add cash expenses, track income, budget different categories, see your networth, get investments performance, etc. I have been using that for 5 years and obsessed with that

budgeting is about planning your spending, definitely should include investments in your budget as well, and then in the actual section (which i assume you have in your spreadsheet) you then put what you actually did. budgeting just gives you a plan on how you plan to use your money, it doesn't have to be limiting
