'October' is about two young Hotel Management college students interning in a hotel. Shiuli (the girl) is fond of Dan (the boy). During a Xmas party on the terrace held by the hotel staff, Shiuli is looking for Dan & asks 'Where is Dan?" Unfortunately, Shiuli slips off the terrace wall/parapet and suffers head injuries and is coma thereafter. Dan is told about Shiuli asking for him and her accident. In a way, he feels responsible. The movie is slow but beautiful, with the boy trying to make amends by looking after her and being her constant companion. It is a very poignant & tender film about the boy's dedication to the girl. It reminded me of the vintage Ali Mcgraw & Ryan O'Neal 1970's movie "Love Story' . A must watch for romantics!
