Speaking of that Adam and Eve painting, I saw it written the other day that “God gives you free will, but if you use it, you’re going to Hell.” I thought that was pretty funny and just solidified my atheism even more. 😂😂😂

I’m glad you’re seeing a therapist. I just started seeing one last month. It’s about time. I should have started back in 2014 when I had my nervous breakdown. I’d be better off today. Better late than never. My therapist looks like Emma Thompson, and when I don’t wear mascara, she thinks I look like Susan Sarandon. No one has ever told me that before. When I was younger, I got Molly Ringwald, and in my 30s, I got Drew Barrymore. Now I’m a fat Susan Sarandon. LOL

Katheryn Saunders Those damn MILs. I’m now married to my knight in rusty armor, who’s 21 years and 11 days my senior. I asked him if his mother would have liked me. He said, “Definitely not.” Thank goodness I don’t have to put up with another one. Shew! 😂

Do you have any Native American heritage? If so, which tribe? I’m 1/16 Cherokee. Practically everyone in the Southeast is some variation of Scots-Irish, German, and Cherokee. I’m all of those plus Israeli and just a touch of French. What’s your ancestral background? It must be vastly different from mine since you live as far away from me as you possibly could and still be inside the continental U.S.
@gr8kat15 жыл бұрын
LOL well a lot of my maternal grandma's ancestors are from the deep south, everyone's gotta come from somewhere :) But I'm mostly English, German, Norwegian, and a touch of Spanish and Italian. No Native American, unfortunately.
@JPMJPM5 жыл бұрын
Katheryn Saunders The Deep South? Where? I live in the Mid South. I’ve always liked the Norwegians. I’ve been to Norwegian museums and villages in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin because my ex-husband’s father was a first-generation American raised by two Norwegians. He was raised in Worth County, Iowa, right on the border of Minnesota. I was amazed at just how different that part of the country is. I felt like I was not even in the U.S.

@@JPMJPM Is Georgia deep enough? My great great grandfather was a soldier in the Confederate army but he was wounded and sent home on leave, and never went back. He was listed as AWOL for the rest of the war.
@JPMJPM5 жыл бұрын
Katheryn Saunders Yep, Georgia’s deep enough. I have an ancestor who arrived in the U.S. from Scotland a few years before the war. He fought for the Union; most East Tennesseans did. He was captured and died in a notorious POW camp in Georgia. His headstone is in that camp’s cemetery. Interesting, eh?
