I think that finishing 47/60 is still a win with all you had to do last month: the garage sale, and decluttering, and even binging your favorite decluttering KZbin channel was necessary for your inspiration. Congratulations on your challenge.

Oh, Little Peppers and How They Grew. I had a really neat hard copy of that I read back in the 70s when I was in my 20s. I liked it then as part of my reading children's books that had been important in earlier decades along with The Secret Garden, The Little Princess, and The Borrowers as well as my copy of Little Women that I still have.

I really rushed through it this time, but I will plan on going back to it at some point.

Howdy, Elizabeth. The Gladys Taber book without the dust jacket is still an attractive book and the wonderful photos inside. What a find.

@@lizziefayelovesbooks No. And the only book of hers the library has is Spring Harvest on Hoopla. I will try to get it on my TBR soon just to sample at least the author you and Sonia love.

It just made sense to go ahead and get them while they were available on Audible Plus. They are all such short books that they were easy to squeeze in.

@@Soniawithani That's great, Sonia! It really made an impression on me at the time/for quite a time as well. The paperback copy I had was signed by my grandfather and my best friend when they both borrowed it to read because I had raved about it so much. I don't have the book anymore, but I think I still have the cover and the page they signed once they read it somewhere. They are both gone now, so I need to recover them and put them in a special journal.
