I'm sorry to hear Antique Hunter's Guide to Murder didn't work out! I'd heard about that book from different people, but it sounds like one I should pass on. I haven't read any Margaret Peterson Haddix books (despite having several of them on my library app lists for years), but glad to hear you enjoyed The Strangers!
