I only read two books this month, Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. (Loved both of them, holyshit probably my favorite new series) I had a lot of school and stuff, also I think I'm getting into a reading slump... :/

I have both of the illustrated HARRY POTTER! I LOVE them both. They have beautiful illustrations and I loved rereading Harry Potter. Can't wait for the other 5 books!

The Queen's Fool in the Tudors Series is really good though I actually like the Cousins War Series more, even though I haven't finished that series. Chronically the cousins war comes before the Tudor series.

I just bought Heartless tonight, super excited! ;) And I got a bunch of Kindle deals (sooooo many dirt cheap books!): Illuminae, With Malice, Ordinary People, A Great & Terrible Beauty, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, A Handmaid's Tale, Damage Done, The Merciless, How to Hang a Witch, Labyrinth Lost, Last Call at the Nightshade Lounge, Wishful Drinking, & This Dark Endeavor. My favorite Philippa Gregory novel is actually The Queen's Fool. You've got a way to go yet before that one if you're going chronologically, but it's a good one. Also if you end up liking The Other Boleyn Girl, you should try Michelle Moran's book Nefertiti. It's basically Boleyn Girl in Nefertiti's Egypt and told from the sister's perspective. Have you seen the children's movie version of Princess and the Goblin? Childhood favorite!

I read Princess and the Goblin and wrote a paper on it for my Victorian lit class back when I was at school. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the story and what you planned for the paper! The movie was one of my favorites growing up so when I got the chance to read the book, I jumped on it. I wish I knew where my paper was. It was four years ago so it's lost lol

I loved Walk on Earth a Stranger! I'm almost done with it on audio book. I did not like This Savage Song. I've also read Victoria Schwab's Vicious, that was difficult to get through. I liked the idea of it but did not get into it much.

The amount of books that you read gives me hope that I can bounce back into reading this month. In October, I didn't finish a book sadly. This huge reading slump is killing me. I have about 150 pages left in False Hearts by Laura Lam, and I'm really enjoying it, I don't know why it's taking me forever to finish it. I also about an hour and a half left in the audiobook of House of Royals by Keary Taylor as well. It's a lightheaded paranormal book, which usually gets me out of reading slumps as does audiobooks, but this slump has been the worst one in a very long time. My urge to read has risen in the past day or two, so hopefully that will help with the slump, but the next few weeks will be busy. I only have two days off for Thanksgiving break as well, but I'm optimistic on how much i will read in November.

I enjoyed Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde but read it as a classic thriller. I guess I'm jaded (thank you road rage people!) because it was more of a psychological thriller, IMO. But Robert Louis Stevenson's writing was beeeee-utiful! Loved it!

Merel Kouwenhoven whilst the 3rd book isn't as amazing as the first 2, it is still a good book! Highly recommend the entire series. The third book ties everything together and the characters get closure.
