Octopath Traveler 2: Vide (Boss | No Damage/Nuts)

I'm honestly impressed how you managed to do this with characters in the levels 20 to 30 range. Nobody is even above level 45 (or somewhere there). It's insane and I don't get how you did it with some of them. It also goes to show how easily breakable you can make this game if you know what you're doing.

​​@@celestialkitsunethat much is obvious, a level down mod has to be used I think (Don't think you can get that little exp from story only battles), other than that idk, this is probably doable at those levels given that most of your stats will be from gear

@@jis11with all the objects for not encountering enemies, letting some characters aside, and even let some die to not lettres gain exp, I think it’s possible.

I was Level 70 with everyone when I tried this... I fluked it and had to use Temenuke to finish it.

I got destroyed after my level 70+ team just disappeared, and my level 40 characters appeared out of nowhere saying I needed to beat the boss to get them back. Safe to say I died almost immediately.

Haha! That's epic but funny. Just had my second battle with characters level 53 average. Got to the final part but couldn't revive dead players which screwed me up and with minimum use of potions. Rip. Need to come up with a strategy for next challenge but was exciting and great!

Absolutely unreal. Maybe the only game where I respect how much it goes from gradual increase in difficulty to full-on throw you out of a 30 story window. At some point I'll go back, grab the gear I need to, and take care of this fight, but in the meantime this will do lol. Great stuff.

Just beat this boss, even after having to start the game again to get the weapon/skill/equipment set you provided! Worth it though (even if the turn order for me was slightly odd but still brute forced my way) excellent video will look at your other one for the secret boss !

I think experiencing galdera for the first time in octopath 1, made me so hype for vide but unfortunately this was not that challenging. My party is between 50-55 level. And I just keep spamming skills like Aebers reckoning and one true magic. But im so glad that when I fought Galdera again in Octo2, I died so many times! I havent beaten him yet. Im glad Galdera is super challenging! Beating him would be so satisfying.

It only prevents getting breaked (aka the weaknesses don't reduce sheild points), however the damage is still there

Vide is only completely immune to damage on the second phase

Equip "Deal More Damage" passive skill which can be learnt from Warrior job.

Do you have other recommendation/s for throne's sword?? An extra Battle-Tested Blade is sooooo hard to get (the one where you need to battle a dude from Tropu Hopu who only has 2% chance of dropping the Battle-tested Blade pains me >_

Use a Diffusing Serum in your concoction and it will spread it to all characters.

How do you have two Blessed Vestments? One for Castti and one for Temenos. I only found one from stealing from the judge.

Run invalid: Forbidden Elixir invalidates the untouched bonus for the end of battle victory screen (I hate that fact, my Temenos Nuke [which I didn't use for Vide] uses Forbidden Elixir and crazy max SP (which I believe is barely lower nutless, but I had 570 max SP on temenos during Vide, and I DIDN'T EVEN USE IT because that high SP + conjurer's prayer for rain = MY TEMENOS RECOVERED MORE SP THAN ANY OF HIS SKILLS USED (exept the temenos nuke, which he didn't use))

Good video but please use x2 battle its so slow, and put hikary to one hp before the battle started forbidden elixir will do 0 damage that way
