Octopath Traveler - Ophilia the Starseer (Character Overview + Build)

Octopath Traveler - Ophilia has access to the highest base Elem. Def and SP stats in the game, as well as a sizeable Elem. Atk and Defence stat. In and of itself, the Starseer class is solid, possessing a triple-element spell and a bevy of support skills. However, the true power of the class is the support skills it provides, which include some of the very best (particularly, BP Eater and Boost Start).
By taking advantage of Ophilia's base Staff weapon and the additional Spear and Dagger weapon types, you can push the damage of a cast of Shooting Stars to incredible heights, letting you secure boss kills if a cleric casts Aelfric's Auspices!

a little late to say this, i know, but is this guy the god of all RPG'S? seriously, he went from making blade broken in Xenoblade 2, to making character builds in octopath. i have had octopath since the second it launched (12 am July 13) and i am just now wraping up the eight characters stories. good. fucking. lord.

If it wasn't for the fact that Primose already had a dagger, Primrose would have been a better pick since she naturally has the skill, "the show goes on" which increases the length of status buffs.

I've actually found that I really like Starseer on Cyrus. There's no weapon overlap like with giving him Sorceror, he has full elemental coverage, and it gives him access to Tradewinds Spear, Bishops Staff, and Adamantine Dagger to buff Shooting Stars. And Sorceror feels good on Primrose. Again, no weapon overlap, so she can take Heathcote's Dagger, Preimeval Bow of Storms, and Absolute Zero Staff to buff her spells. And she has dancer to give Cyrus party wide Starseer buffs while Cyrus has scholar to give Prim single target Sorc nukes. The only downside is no cleric to give burst heals, but Runelord Tressa can do that with Transfer Rune and a boosted Rest.

i have cryus as sorrcer to mainly to nuke the feild. i also like in primeose but its not as strong as the damage as cryus does.

I like that we made some characters the same thing. For my Galdera fight I had cleric Therion and Starseer Ophilia. Both seem to work out fine.

500k on the final boss is only the first phase. i looked at the numbers to estimate how much health i had to chew through to beat it and it was well over a million hp because of the adds that show up

It's not actually that bad with Cyrus. When I killed him I was super surprised because he died faster than I anticipated.

Master Kohga if you go on this nn lis channel look for one of his h’annit the war master builds. The only setup really is to have h’annit at 1hp b4. Start th fight ad have your other party members have higher seed than her so they an feed her pomegranates. After that its easy. If u wanna know tho I had alfyn, Theron, h’annit , and tressa on my sec team

Therion? Not tressa? She can also exploit weaknesses with runelord, plus transfer rune + sidestep. Is there any reason you prefer therion?

Dat Player I'm more of a DPS kinda guy, so Therion using Transfer Rune + Whatever Element + Armor Corrosive works pretty well for me

Ayden Smith well this is just a suggestion, but tressa also got rest, which heals hp, sp, and all status conditions. Imagine that with transfer rune.

Sealteague (butchered that) divine ability affects virtually ALL starseer abilities making them absolutely ruhdiculous. I make tressa my starseer, Ophelia a thief, h'aanit warmaster, and Primrose sorc though.

Brady1111 Vainglory post game are easy to get, just go steal them or buy them from characters that appear after you finish their stories, but before you finish the story fighting people can make the drop the battle-tested weapons, but their drop rate absurd, i think is 3% i got almost all of them by fighting the npc's and reseting the game, but it took a while, i only didnt get the battle-tested dagger i was too tired by then.

Secret shrines in Cyrus's chapter 4 area, olberic's chapter 4 area, Ophilia's chapter 4 area, and primrose's chapter 4 area

If you want 99,999x3 Shooting Stars, use Alephan’s and Dreisang’s divine skills on Ophilia, with magic buffed and enemy’s magic defense debuffed. You can of course do Aelfric’s too, but hey, 99,999x3 is near 300,000 damage, which is more than enough for all the gauntlet bosses. Although, using this on the Omniscient Eye might not be a bad idea either.
