I'm a 65 yo guy who took guitar lessons 50 years ago. I got a ukulele today, and tried a whole bunch of tutorials here on youtube. Stephanie, yours are by far the best. Not only are you a great teacher, but your smile is absolutely to die for. Thank you SO MUCH for doing this. Has brought me great joy in this difficult time. My wife, too.

Stephanie, I appreciate you calm demeanor and smile. Great to have the chords there to look at but also see your playing position. I used to teach elementary music and art. Now I'm teaching 2nd grade but still bring my uke to school on occasion for a sing-a-long team builder. My kids will love this!

Wow! I love that you tuned the G an octave lower. This band director-turned-ukule/piano teacher is loving this simple, yet effective concept. Sounds more like an actual guitar.

I'm just going Down, Down-up, Down, Down-up. If you're counting, think 1 2& 3 4&, with the "and" being an up strum. Arm is consistent with the motion. I hope that helped.
