Thanks for showing me the trick on how to put the interface on...I literally watched 3 videos before this, and i just couldn't get it to lock! Everyone else seems to just click it on in two seconds, job done haha It only worked for me following your method: popping in the bottom 2 parts first, followed by the top. I was about to send it back! Appreciate the help.

Amvr are they same compay as the vr cover for the quest 2? I used the vr cover for the quest 2 and really like it. So i search for vr cover for quest 3 and only see the amvr and wonder is they are the same company.

They are two separate companies. VR Cover has yet to bring out a facial interface solution. It's taking a long time for them, so AMVR is capturing that market for the Quest 3.

Very good detailed review, thanks! I had smashed the middle stage notch on one of the lower sides and it was moving so I glued it to my preferred closest option. But is saw the fitting thanks to your vid.

I know what you mean. They haven’t made it that easy on the Q3 verses Q2. In a way that’s a good thing as you can just sneeze and the Q2 interface could fall out 😂

I don’t suffer with fogging so it’s hard to test. I’m sure the vents allow for a better airflow

Check the manual. There’s a clip on each side you need to leaver over to raise the side.

Just got this and the s3 pro from bobo, i found if you get the fan over the facial interface just a tad, take off the nose pad and its better gameplay, if u can handle light leak like i can under ur nose this is the best two options you can currently get for sure, if you dont like light leak i don’t recommend this facial interface alone for the nose guard is irritating af but for me no nose guard, and bobo strap with the ice line liner is the best quest 3 set up u can have feels like a diaper for your face the nose guard alone tho is the one down side it feels like something is snagging at ur nose, and itchy and feels like it drags the headset down as soon as i took it off solved that feeling like the things falling off my face and pinching my nostrils overall this and a s3 pro is a 8/10 for me and still the best

you did a poor job of explaining and showing how to adjust the interface. A lot of the image was out of view when you were initially adjusting.

Good review, but I would really advise caution when adjusting the distance using the clips. When ours first arrived, set to the centre one, on one corner, bottom, a clip broke off very easily. No undue force used. Even with the caution we applied, and we did, it is possible to break these, being only narrow and somewhat fragile. You confirmed that the depth control could be better. We exchanged the first one. The nose piece is effective but, like you commented, it is not really held in place that well when in use. But it is ok. The PU leather padding is preferred. Overall, just ok really. Comparing to the default kit, we do not need glasses to use the headset, it is a reasonable buy that at least reduces slight light bleed otherwise there on the vanilla face pad due to lack of nose covering. If the vanilla had got that, then we would have remained with that one.

@@OQPlay I noticed you used a Quest 2 pad to fit, albeit white. Could you link me to that please..? I can't find it over at Amazon UK..? Are you still using this facepad and if so still with that Quest 2 pad fitted..? I am using mine with a KKCOBVR Q3 PRO Battery Head Strap, great combination.

Yes it does but due to how it limits how the front of the S3 Pro sits the air flows more to your forehead than possibly into the facial interface. For me that’s a good thing as I wouldn’t want the air to flow over my eyes Hope this helps

Superconfy not, better than stock yes. What they should really do is to fit the Reverb G2 interface on Quest, then it will be superconfy.

This interface is cheap Poundland tat. It's going back tomorrow, I feel completely robbed. I don't care if the original interface isn't entirely comfortable, it's still miles better than this rubbish. Know any that aren't completely flimsy? This has been my first terrible VR peripheral experience. Hopefully the last!

Given the rep that AMVR has, I'm also surprised by how poor this interface is, the top adjusters are a PITA and the interface has to be removed for it to be adjusted, yet the bottoms adjust really easily, and often accidentally.

No one seems to have done it right. Even VR Cover seems to have gone silent on their accessories for the Quest 3

So, I ended up using the stock interface, but removed the hard pad, put some velcro on there and then used the AMVR pad, sooo much better, however the pad does overhang due to the stock interface being smaller than the AMVR one, but, it does give me back the ability to flip the headset up on my KKCOBVR headstrap. If I were going to keep it then I would have used a matching size velcro and cleaned up the interface a bit better before I put the velcro on it, however, I have just had a text message saying that my Globular Cluster facial interface has arrived..

Nope. Useless. Geometry of this thing is EXACTLY the same as stock one. Where do you get "comfy" is baffling me. Is this just a paid promotion? I'd get it. But "comfy"? Leather one makes your face wet instantly, even if you're sitting down, it's PU leather, it doesn't breathe. The "cold silk" one is nice to touch and feels good on skin, but it's so smushy, it's practically air inside, so when you tight up your headstrap, you feel all plastic behind this thing with your skin. It's junk, basically.

Silicone covers are ok but not really a match to foam interfaces for long term comfort IMO
