The only issue is that dragon already left the navy for quite a while before luffy was even conceived. He visited O’Hara in the same year it was destroyed and was already in the freedom fighters. Luffy wasn’t even close to being born yet. Luffys mother had to have been alive when dragon created the revolutionaries. I think we can rule out any options of dragons reasons being because luffys mom was killed.

If she's really a mummy then probably she's much more dangerous than Shonks (the fake Shanks)... It looks to me that she went there with Shonks to finish his unfinished job and teach him some lesson. He knew Loki, but she didn't. She's talking, but he's not. It's like he's just following a senior. I still don't know what Shonks failed to do in the past in Elbaf, but I think they're there to finish exactly that, which should be some plan from the past. So, I just keep thinking... What if Shonks was there 6 years ago to actually prevent Loki from taking the throne and it actually ended with the king's death and Loki imprisonement as the culprit. Loki would restore the warrior tradition of Elbaf (which is something the World Government abhores) while Harald wouldn't. Than Shanks believing the people who believed in Shonks acted with the giants to chain Loki in the three, doubting his own friend (maybe) which maybe is the cause Loki calls Shanks a coward. Luffy can't be a half-lunarian cuz his ability to control fire is because of his df and haki. Hybrid races have been around for literally decades in the story. The foxy pirates had Fishman/giant hybrids, dresseosa had Derringer, a Fishman/human hybrid and Big Mom's whole thing was having kids from other races.

Hello ! I wanted to point of some things about the chapter : First the power coming from the holy knight woman isn't some mind control ability or psychological attack, if you look at the giant's legs we can see paper/mommy strips around his feet, in the next square they went up his calves. They look like the same wrappings going around the woman's face, maybe she has some kind of mummy or embalming devil fruit and she can ' sap ' life power with these strips. His reaction about it being a joke must be because he wasn't expecting any pain. 2nd the owl didn't eat a deka deka no mi variant, he read the fruit of education ! In japanese it's the iku iku no mi, from the word ikusei which means education ( also owls are seen as teachers in japanese folkore so it fits well ). In summary he can make any piece of knowledge understandable for someone else, in this case as the books are too small for the giants to read, he just made them bigger. This is super interesting imo ! If we speculate it means that he could translate or teach about any piece of history written in any language possible, Robin will use the help of Biblo. Also and biblo must be a word play between bibliothèque/biblioteca, biblio in latin means book and well he's in a library. Also word play with the Bible itself. and a last small detail, Evil shanks 's sword looks a bit more crooked than actual shanks's sword. If you squint you can see it having a small angle, while the one from Figardland's father & son seem like a perfect half-circle. Maybe i'm neatpicking here but it doesn't look the same, but I kinda hope that the evil shanks theory comes true instead of the evil twin/clone raised by nobles one :')

One thing I noticed about Dragon’s tattoo or brand is that when he spoke with vegapunk at Ohara he didn’t have it yet but he wore a band over his clothes with the same pattern. I saw someone one time had a theory that the Shandorian Seto, the guy who went on to marry Calgara's daughter, acted and resembled Luffy in such a way that basically no one else in the series did. Specifically the scene where Seto sits in front of the cage containing Noland's crew, as though daring the rest of the tribesmen to go through him to try and execute them - the panel straight up just looked like Luffy. They then also mentioned 'Calgara's weapon of choice vs enemy ships was a giant iron ball on a chain he tossed at them. Who else do we know that does that?' So for the time being I like that theory. Seto married Calgara's daughter, then when the city was shot into the sky either the child or the whole family were left on the Blue Sea away from the rest of their people and have since gone on to continue their family line throughout however many years it took before we finally get Monkey D. Luffy.

I think the owls fruit is what the ancients used to terraform the earth, like in your theory. They planted Adam trees with the ancient weapons, then sped up the process with the grow grow fruit.
