Damn I am invested in this story. Its whole chronicle of live in the hood from a perspective of two different walks of life. The acting is truly grounded, thats a no brainer since you guys really are living in these tough environments. ODawg as a 22 year old is wise beyond his age and level headed. Smooth as an outsider really makes me feel as if I'm the one who messes up at every turn. I've dealt with plugs since I'm an addict (I live in southeast asia, Borneo) and let me tell you, when i was high off my shit from those weird joule flav things, i swear they laced that, but i was tripping balls in my own car. Its a miracle nothing really happened since they got guys rolling up one by one and my anxiety just consumed me. My point is, the dread you feel when you f*ck about and somehow mess up, is truly horrifying. A whole ass season of every possible bad outcome you could think of just rewinds in your head for at least days. I am still in a bad place right now, but this video shows me how its just as bad, or worse at other places especially in the US. At the end of the video, the way Gee called up his boys to shoot up the duo, I realized its just a cycle of violence and robbery, with new people ropped in everytime. The Hood is a novelty in of itself. Kinda poetic. Then again, human lives are at stake, and souls are being crushed. Its not beautiful at all

I used to want to be in the streets because of my dad always glorifying it, then my brother latching onto that because we were sheltered kids.
