Nice to see you react again gigii. To me and apart from the lore, the story is about OEC irrupting in a mafia party alluding BBC dishonorable executives. The fight in the parking lot where kim Lip (representing all LOONA members) beats down all gangs, is related to the recently won legal disputes by all members. BTW, it's BBC executives Lee Jong Myung, co-CEO and Lee Kyu Tae, COO who were sued and luckily lost legally (they should have ended up in jail) for abusing the innocence of our girls and some staff members by having created contracts that allowed them to skip payments and enslave the girls for years.

I got chills at the prechorus. NEW VERSION, UP! NEW UNIVERSE! With all the Not Friends references, I'd like to headcanon that Not Friends is part of this storyline, the girls beating up the gang/mafia, so the fight between Lip & Yves would be symbolic of how the more they worked under those contracts, the more indebted they were becoming; fighting against themselves for their dream, idk, too pushed?) So I was thinking about that knife scene ever since you've talked about it at discord. I don't think it's initiation bc in the next scene after we see the sword, where the girls are on the table, everyone around them are bowing (and not only the girls in masks that came with OEC but also men who they were fighting). So I think it's kind of like our girls defeated their queen and now those people aren't against OEC. And since they never took crown with them, I think their goal was Heejin. If we take into consideration your theory that in that scene where we see the end of the sword and part of woman's shoulder, sword is really pointed at Heejin, it gives us an idea about their actual goal. And I'm curios why people were clapping and smiling when that woman was knifed but Heejin wasn't doing any of those things. Also I'm bad at lore and all of that stuff.
