Use a flat screwdriver to raise the flatten nails, then once they are straight, then used a locking plier to raise them out with a small piece of wood under the locking pliers to pry them out (the piece of wood act as a small lever, making it easier to raise the nails.out)

Miz Cindy, you have come a long way from your early days working Bela Pedra. You have really taken your experiences to heart and learned to pragmatically reprioritize your projects:resources as you go. You have learned to maintain forward momentum under changing circumstances and adversity. In past, it was extremely painful watching you have a go at things haphazardly that cost you (time, money, heartache). Now, while still maintaining your natural spontaneity, you're able to shift priorities and still thrive during lean times. You're focusing on YOU, your routine physical health checks, baking & cooking for your soul and peace of mind, working on new merch for your teacher training, doing little odd jobs that you can do on your own around your place. Brava! While admiring how you're able to move heavier and heavier objects, i noticed how good the tone of your legs are looking. You've gained muscle and lost much water retention 🙆🏻‍♀️. You might not realize it, but i feel you're really working your abs, thigh, and arm muscles much better during your lifting & hauling and by doing so you're protecting your back muscles and overall mobility. I noticed how far more at ease you are working your Ryobi rechargeable power tools and that you have a new sense of confidence and also of your actual potential tackling things about the quinta you didn't think you could before. You've really blossomed this year. In the most difficult time of the year you are able to now savor what you have in hand... no ruminating, not so much worrying -- you're appreciating the present and the many blessings that have and continue to come to you. You made the absolute right decision to reprioritize your fencing project over your barn build. You realized there's no need to finish the barn now and be brokity broke unable to do nothing else during the long, brutal summer heat. You are just rolling with the punches, with "things happen for a reason", with "poop happens"... like never before! I am so proud of you, each of your accomplishments, the big ones but mostly all the many little one, your wins, your losses and backsteps that bring deep understanding to us experiential learners. No need to let worries overwhelm bc you are gaining more and more and have since you first arrived at Bela Pedra. Thank you for your explications about all the piggles, your appreciation of the mischief kittens of destruction & creators of your vermin-free zone, and featuring your helpers Thandi and the rest. Your path is beautiful. Your garden beds outside your cottage are even more beautiful with your cleverly chosen bamboo cutlery applied as kitten deterrant. Your children are lovely and Luan is such a cutie. Keep loving your life and hold fast to your faith. 💖

I put my rose vine trimmings in my garden between the plants to keep the cats out. It works. I also put down some chicken wire down over large spaces. That works too. I agree about fencing being the priority. The cabinets are a good idea.. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to help you out financially but I really do keep you in my prayers. I will continue to pray for miracles your way!

You make lots of sense,prioritising your spending is probably the most important lesson for anyone to learn..wish I was better at it! The best thing for me was to get the perimeter fully fenced at last,the relief of knowing the animals cant go annoying neighbours or play with the traffic nearby is immense!❤

I do agree with the previous comment. You have really come a long way from when you first started. You look healthier and slimmer and fitter. Those kitties are so rascally, but the mouse population is more controlled. You really need closed cupboards in the kitchen. A volunteer or 2 would be a help as well.🙂👍🇨🇦🐷😽🐕

You are going to wait a very long time for me to chop the bottom part out from under the window as that is never going to happen. It would affect the integrity and structure and the whole wall might collapse. Also, it is illegal to do that without an architect, building plan approval and a structural engineer sign off. That's why I have been so careful to stick to the footprint to avoid all those headaches and unnecessary bureaucracy.

you are using the old rusted hammer the wrong way around basically hook the pron upwards and then pull in direction of the head of the hammer NOT the prongs. You may find it eassier to also avail yourself of a small piece of would to help you with the longer nails.
