I love how the smoke coming off the destroyed tanks are tranquilly drifting in one direction, but the trees are bobbing, weaving and shaking in every which way like hurricane winds are blowing, and yet then trees maybe 30 meters away are completely still.

Yes ..in war thunder land the wind is completely random. One side of the map is tornadic winds blowing from all directions ..only 30 meters away no wind. I wish they would remove this "feature"

I have a theory I call "The conservation of fun in WT" See fun cannot be created or destroyed and there is a finite amount of fun. So all the fun that can ever be had has already been had in WT. This also means if you are having fun in WT that means someone else is not having fun in WT in a one to one proportion. Thus the only way to have fun in WT is to make someone else not have fun.

Huh, i recently started grinding Sweden, and this ended up one of my most favorite tanks in low-mid tier, as long as i could flank or snipe, i'd WRECK enemies with the APDS It may be a medium tank, but i suggest you just play it like an open top SPG cause of the weak armor And yea the turret speed is absolutely horrible, but that didn't stop me from getting 8+ streaks several times before getting to the next tier xD

When I have a tank with awful sights I typically use my binoculars to make hits. I hold down left click so when I press B to exit the binocs I shoot immediately. I will typically preemptively range find before the shot but sometimes I just guesstimate. Works pretty decently

Turns out it's a better SPAA than it is a TD (I know it's a medium in game for some reason, but pvkv means anti-tank cannon vehicle/carriage).

I got this a couple days ago and man, I very nearly almost lost a 1v1 against a BTR-152 from the front when I struggled to get the tank to turn around on a very slight uphill, and then he killed most of my crew and somehow didn't do any more damage as my gunner was being replaced. I then missed my main cannon shot because of the crap gun handling and then I ended up machine gunning him to death somehow.

This is one of a few vehicles I have put the "The Nightmare" decal on. I reserve it for only the crapiest of vehicles that I just can't seem to have fun in. I've gotten round shattered from this things APDS at less than 100m distance against pickup truck AA's. It's only redeeming quality is that the barrel hitbox is wonky enough in the decal screen that I was able to stick my blinky light on top of it and the drone on the bottom of it.

I am going to lay it out as it is. Its the handling of the M41Gun tank and the M10 TD combined with the protection of a locust. I expect the other Swedish 57mm's are going to get this round, go up in BR to where this thing is because their armor doesn't generally fuse APHE all that well, this things going to take the place of the old swedish low tier td's.

Welcome to my personal APDS hell as a Britain player. Honestly until you get to 105 and 120mm APDS, it is a downright horrible experience. I had to use solid shot AP all the way until the Conq (7.7) and Cent mk10 (8.0) bc the 84 mm APDS sucks so bad on the Cent mk3/Caernarvon it is basically useless. All the while fighting soviet bias bullshit with APFSDS.

I can already see Gaijin's mistake, which is thinking that the Pvkv IV having an enclosed turret and coaxial MG makes it a "Medium Tank". It's a Tank Destroyer, just like the other Pvkvs (that's what the name means: 'Pansarvärnskanonvagn' = 'Tank-defense cannon vehicle') which helps explain its terrible armour (it's the same hull as the 2.0 Light tank m/40, but without the additional upper front plate) and turret traverse (worse than the M10). Its 5-second reload is probably the only thing it has going for it, and even that's comparable to the nimbler and better-armoured Crusader III at 3.0, and the *much* better-armoured Cromwell I at 3.7...
