The L-62 ANTI in War Thunder is a Swedish Anti-Air that got access to SAPHEI rounds with 62mm of penetration but what feels like the same destructive power of an IS-2!
The Swedish L-62 can spit a round out every half a second making it pretty difficult to hit enemy aircraft but when it comes to tanks... OH BOY! This thing is one of the best tank destroyers in the entire game for its BR.
Today, we take this out with a plane to have a bit of fun in War Thunder! :)

2:33 Please, as someone who has a lot of experience with the GAZ Trucks, this is a heavy tank by comparison. Not having to worry about Coax MGs is a major improvement over guys being completely exposed. Having a fully traversable turret is also very helpful.

i had something similar happen in a couple games since the last update. Seems like sometimes a if a plane crashed near it would just stay stuck looping the exploding sounds. It would go on the whole match if it happened.

I've had the same experience. noise has been bugged when planes crash since the recent update. Gaijin unofficial motto: "add one thing, break 6"

It's happened a few times to me. Was a real nuisance since it masked almost all engine and track noises. Didn't know that Warthunder had HL2 collision sound effects.

yeah had same thing happen in a 2.7 game plane crashed and where it crashed prop sound glitched making it sound like a heli scared the sh1t out of me when i flew by and thought "WHY IS THERE A HELI AT 2.7!!"

It's really bad as an anti air, but it's sick for tank killing, extra points to Mad Max truck for being cooler to look at though. There's that other clone ANTI thing at 5.0 or so which essentially does the same, has the same crap ammo capacity and bad traverse. I don't even know why is that high in BR, but this one is super fun for 2.7.

You're thinking of the 4.3 SPAA, and it has like double the fire rate, 3x the turret rotation and the same ammo count. Also it can neutral steer about the same speed as its turret rotates. However, it's a 40mm cannon with very few rounds to bait planes, and there isn't another one until 7.0...

@@volteer1332 That 4.3 thing runs out of ammo after trying to shoot one plane down. And the 7.0 is the ZSU-57-2 which is pretty much a td. Id say even worse for aa than the 4.3 one. So the next actual aa is at 8.3. And before the finnish Leopard Marksman was added the next AA was at 8.7. Sweden desperately needs something in between that 4.3 and 8.3. And I believe france has pretty much the same issue but at least that lower br one has some ammo to fire.

I belief the majority of the swedish 40mm anti airs get that sap round. Makes grinding the AA tree a breeze. Take it to top tier, you are bound to get kills consistently

I have this as my secondary vehicle in a 3.7 lineup to play with recently started friends. And even at 3.7, it can penetrate t34's and PzIV's from the front easily. Your only real weakness is angled tanks like the front of a t34 and SU-122's.

Ammo count for this vehicle is not terrible, but the next one in the tree fires twice as fast and carries a lot less ammo. Basically, you have to sit on a cap to use it as an AA.

It's weird, how low tier Sweden is genuinely one of the best lineups early on, and is just downright odd for AA. Almost all of its AA at early tier is better as AT, and then you get the BKAN 1C, which is a Tank Destroyer that's better as SPAA.

The 2.7 Sweden lineup is one of the best in the game.. that destroyer of worlds, the same cannon on a truck, the Lago and EH for a bit of pen and armor, the S-II for scouting. It's illegally good man

This video was so fun to watch, Great showcase of this vehicle. In several of Bawz' videos he seems to "struggle finding enemies", in this case the 3rd battle on Abandon Factory he was up past the point after his flank 16:20-18:30 asking "Where are they? I've never seen low tier like this?" I think he gets too tunnel visioned on the enemy spawn after his flanks, looking for kills he doesn't ever realized HIS team being wiped behind him. I love the content and Don't want this thrown as calling Bawz out for Spawn Camping but the commentary always throws me while that's happening behind him XD

This is hilarious, i just started sweden and this and the milk truck before it are the best tank destroyers at their BR ive used. Got 10 kills with the milk truck in a game earlier and out of 8 games im at 27 kills and 8 deaths, with like 6 planes sprinkled in there too.

There's also the lvtdbg m/40 with the same gun, the gun isn't as stable when firing as this one, but you are much more mobile. So you can take this to top tier and 1 tap light armored vehicles, and even kill some mbts from the side. They're ridiculous. There is also the lvkv 42 that has 95 pen, and fires twice as fast as these vehicles. It just doesn't have as much ammo.

i have had the same issue with crashed plane sounds i also was playing an AA and shot down a plane which crashed next to me and sound was loud and a few mins later grew so loud that it started to hurt my ears so i moved away but the sound followed me all over the map i had to quit that match
