Also 300 is a good day from experience, I'd have up to 800 on Planetside 2 (Playstation region locked means we have to connect to Ceres instead of having our own server like PC) and I don't even remember what the ping was on average for WT.

yeah literally +200ms on top of what @oddbawz normally gets.. For ping/latency, bandwidth is nearly irrelevant, just physics. The servers are hosted like 8000km away, with latency primarily being a function of distance. This video gives a good proximation of the experience playing in Aus on US servers.

As for experiments goes it was not a bad tank, in the sense that they gained invaluable experience from building it, which went towards the Begleitwagen otherwise known as the Panzer IV.

Germany in the start of the war was at the start of the war far over shadowed by its main enemies at the start of the war in terms of its tank forces,the allies had in certain terms either superior quality(armor or better performing gun) or Superior numbers of tanks in general,but The Wehrmacht utilized the branch with greater efficiency,Rommel Recognized that tank was just an instrument in a greater orchestra,That limited production heavy tank was a project,more of well see what sticks,a tryout,and was mainly used for propaganda but also training new recruits,seeing a moving pillbox with multiple mgs and guns for majority of the soldiers if they hadn´t been trained to it,ww1 proved that Not only the Utterly devastating effects of warfare with constant bombardment,but when the German forces 1st time faced tanks in battle they were defenseless against them. That tank might have been obsolete from the get go but it was a valuable test platform.

I believe the main reasons the Nb.Fz was ineffective are the following: 1. The designers had in mind the combat role of tanks in WWI, that of an infantry support - breakthrough vehicle. Later on, tanks were built to fight other tanks so heavier protection and armaments were deemed important. Still, the british Matilda I infantry support tank was one of the most protected vehicles in that era. 2. Antitank weapons designed prior to WWII were scarce and mostly carried by infantry. Antitank rifles had also very limited range. In a few words, the antiarmor factor was not strong enough to necessitate the use of heavier armor protection. However, a "heavy breakthrough" tank should at least have better protection than its light counterparts, sacrificing some of its mobility if necessary. The Nb.Fz. was sluggish while not being heavy nor heavily armed. 3. As @SI4sh mentioned above, Neubaufahrzeuge tanks were built mainly for propaganda purposes and probably in a haste. They were left at a prototype stage. Actually the whole project was abandoned early on. That is I believe the most important reason of all. 4. The capabilities and manufacturing experience of war industry in the early 40s were not enough for the production of heavy equipment, or funds were insufficient /driven towards the development of other sectors (Airforce for example).

WHY? According to the treaty of Versailles, Germany was not allowed to develop tanks. So they developed „tractors“ instead, one of them was the Neubaugahrzeug (new construction vehicle). The Neubaufahrzeug was a prototype project only, however, few of these tanks made it to the front in Norway in 1940. The idea behind the Neubaufahrzeug was that the Germans planned building proper tanks soon and the German industry needed experiences with that. Historically, it was never meant to appear in War Thunder ;-)

tbh the reason why War Thunder and WoT have such developed tech trees is because there is figuratively a huge catalogue of prototypes from the second world war to make video game tanks out of. a large amount of tanks in both games whose designs either never saw production because they were not chosen by the military they were designed for, or totally unfeasible before production was even a thought in anyone's mind, or only very few were made and then scrapped, because they were totally unfeasible.

I have had it reach 900 with 70% packet loss at which point I wasn't even touching my keyboard and was sitting there watching my tank spin on its own and clipping through the ground

"High Max Engine RPM" This warning occurs when either you are diving down or starting your plane (you stand still and crank the engine to max power). In simulator battle (also in rb if you've got the keys bound) you have the option to change the pitch of your prop. When you dive down and the pitch is too high then this will make your engine speed up because the air is moving the prop like a windmill, exceeding the RPM the engine could reach by itself and therefor damaging the engine because it's running way too fast (like driving a car at 80km/h in the second gear). When you start and crank the engine to max with a high pitch this might occur because the plane doesn't move although the engine is running at max throttle. This means that the engine has to move way to much air. I guess you can compare it to a car with a 500kg bomb on the backseat and trying to start driving in the highest gear. Both situations will damage the engine of your plane. I don't know how it is in RB but in SB you definitely have to be careful about it.

the Neubaufahrzeug was an experimental medium tank designed in the early 30s, it was.. kind of a failure although lessons learned were used in the Pz IV. Only five prototypes were ever built.

If I may make a suggestion, play the French AMC.35, and for close air support perhaps the D.510 or the Potez 633. AMC.35: Fast light tank with high penetration (72millimeters at 10m, 0°) and can lose two crew members whilst still being alive. [Reserve Tier] D.510: A simple looking mono-plane design with two of the imfamous almighty 7.5 machine guns, and a 20 millimeter Hispano cannon that penetrates 27 millimeters top down [1.3 Fighter] Potez.633: A light bomber that has decent bomb loads and flies well. [1.7 Light Bomber] If you would like, you can choose this over the Potez: F.222.2: A huge chonky bomber that has enough 50kilogram bombs to bomb the entire fourth dimension and good defensive armament, covering nearly every part of the aircraft. [1.3 *CHONK BOMBER* ] Day 2.
