Wow, that thing took a LOT of work! It's a little late now, but you want to be careful moving rocks around in the desert like that--you never know what kind of critters might be living underneath them! By the way, there's another Oddity not too far away on the side of CA247 in Lucerne Valley: a stuffed Moose in a cage. The elements haven't been kind to it over the years, but it was still there last year, with a couple of big stuffed teddy bears to keep it company. Happy trails!
