I never heard of this place before. My friend was just in Murietta and texted me to google it and I did. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this but I will never go there since watching your video. Too scary 😱.

There are churches, recreational facilities, several gyms, credit union and banks, movie theaters, Temple, schools, etc. It was a pretty large base. At one point it housed/employed over 25,600 personnel and it was built on 5,347 acres. I still drive through sometimes to remember the old days.

Who is the contamination of bases like this that created people like you, very dull, slow, and easily frightened. Go back under the rock that you crawled out of.

Hey, hey! This spot we actually found on our way back from Bachelor's Grove in Illinois. If we ever go back and find more, that could be fun to do a full episode.

There needs to be an aerial look, but you may have found an old Nike defense site. They are all over the place. Where I live, the local school bus yard is build over a Nike site. In many places, after the site was decommissioned, they were turned over to local government and some were just covered over and turned into parks.

Or even though it's not that wide. Could have been a road on top and a walk through, across. Seems tiny for a bunker. But it seems to have had a door too. 😎🤓😝😛😋🤔🎳🎺
@charlesbrown139211 сағат бұрын
It seems to be a community bunker. Maybe at a old park or neighborhood. From tornadoes, sevior thunderstorms, etc maybe from the 50-60s.🤓😎😝😛😋🤔🎳🎺

Most buildings had coal fired hot water heat. The sidewalk lifts were for removing the cinders from the boilers. After coal is burned, the rock and other minerals form cynders that are heavy and would be cumbersome to carry up steps.

Greetings from New Zealand ... I was interested in this because Angels Flight features in many of Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch (and other) novels, as well as the TV series of course, where there is a murder on one of the rail cars (S04E01, filmed just before Angels Flight's reopening in the Fall of 2017). Anyway, thanks for the cool vid =)

Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho. The ice dam was a mile tall. Weather warmed, the dam burst. A mile high wall of mud scoured everything for hundreds of miles to the Pacific. . Nothing remained, nothing survived.

Built in an active earthquake fault. Probably a bad idea...

Every dam suffers from silting. As the river is slowed by the reservoir, silt falls to the water floor. . A decade later, the reservoir has a fraction of its original capacity. Examples: * East of Sacramento California, Folsom Reservoir is so filled with silt, you can walk across shore-to-shore. * Cottage Grove Oregon -- Dorena Reservoir is so silted, Row River is a tiny creek through millions of tons of silt. . As you might imagine, for any dam older than a few years, carrying capacity is nearly nothing.

I went to college at Cal Baptist in Riverside in the early 90s. There are tunnels that run under that property. I have been in them once and didn't experience anything but dirt and darkness. The paranormal stuff when i was there occurred on the 4th floor of the main building, the lesser known 5th floor and the library. Seeing the parking lot below Rubidoux brought back memories of drinking before headed to Metro (RIP) that was like a second home for a while.

People dont realize. With every mistake weve made when building something. Every life lost has made us learn how to do things. Unfortunately people lives were lost. Took 200 years to figure out how to do things. Do we get things wrong yea. Like the submarine that imploded. Great example of engineering that didn't work.
