@@slam.p Tortoises cannot swim. If you see a tortoise/turtle on the road and don't know which one it is, do not put it in the water. It is very heavy and will sink and drown. Instead move it 30 ft off the side of the road. Turtles sun bathe, so it's the safest option if you don't know how to identify one.
