When do you plan to add a video that further explains minor, diminished, and augmented intervals? Just curious.

Thank you It finally makes sense! I always head back to your channel for help! Do you have a video that identifies Minor intervals?

I do not have a video specifically for minor intervals. But I do go over minor intervals in the video.

You said you have to do "some" memorizing, but you then memorize half the intervals in the chart. And you say in a major scale the rest are major intervals. So really it's all memorization! Is there a way to DERIVE which are major or perfect or minor intervals from where they are on the scale or how many notes apart they are?

count all the half steps between them(chromatically). That is how many notes/half steps there are. Example: Between/from a root to the 5th is, 7 notes/half steps between. Apply the half step counting to ANY interval. 12 half steps gets you to the octave(same note just higher up). If you know where the notes are in a major scale, and know a major scale pattern, you can easily count.. on the staff, or on your chromatic instrument. You will become familar with interval patterns. If using piano and notation, it may be more easy to see exactly the 'key' relation that you are in. Hope this may help someone with similar question(s). That's the start.
