True. I just discussed this with one of my friends, and we just laughed at those comments and agreed that this is a bit toned down version of the theme, although, in this video and Angelica’s ig photos the colours look more vibrant. The promo pics of the brand actually might be a bit misleading in this sense. Well, anyway, I love this, it’s still, imo, very autumn-ish and Halloween-y, but with a good twist. And Angelica has always put the colourstories in a way that works for both colour & neutral lovers. Dislikers can simply move on to any brand that has launched smth they think would fit the theme better, like, the options are nearly endless. 😃

When I think of what a lot of people might consider a "true Halloween palette", I think of something cheap that will be tossed aside on November 1st. I love that there are warm fall tones in here with fun colors and I don't know how you can get more Halloween than the literal oranges that are in here, and it will still have a place in my collection after Halloween is passed. Those greens could carry into Christmas and spring, and that's way more useful to me than something gimmicky that will end up in a landfill. I'm excited to see the looks and what everyone does with it too. I could feel really inspired by these.

I really love your perspective of a Halloween color palette, and it genuinely fits one of the essences of Halloween no one talks about. The part involving candies, special fx for unique costumes and makeup that have more life or color, people dressing up in more ethereal or lively costumes, etc. The part of halloween that isn't grungy, spooky, etc. that every halloween palette religiously mimics. This feels like colors made for an animation for a Halloween film that isn't scary but would be adored, and I think that makes these color schemes very unique. Perhaps, it's only obvious to me. Not to mention, these are done in a way that you can still use them after halloween, which only last one day people. This are great for fall and winter. I don't wear crazy color tbh, I use colorful mattes lightly; either to make my clionadh SG shades, or my other shimmers/multichromes/duochromes from other brands, pop . Or to manipulate the color. Occasionally I play with color, usually as accents. And I mention this, because I love the design even though I'm a tad intimated. Which is why I think it's designed well, this isn't constricted to just one day use and can be used nearly every season if you think about it (esp. fall and winter). I don't get (referring to what others are pointing out in the comments) why people are complaining about how it isn't "halloween" enough- it is. I swear you can never win. For example, people get tired of pink palettes (unless they're done extremely well), but they want the same halloween color scheme every year? It isn't clicking. Not to mention, there are SO many beauty brands. It's probability that there's got to be one brand people love who will/has make the typical color palette for halloween. We should celebrate this high level of creativity and vision, we need that kind of art in the world.

I love candy corn! People either love it or hate it. It's pure sugar with a slight chewy texture. A small bag doesn't cost that much. Just get the smallest bag you can find and try it! I always try the local food when I'm traveling. You never know what you're missing out on if you don't try it. If you don't like it, at least you tried it and can make an informed opinion. 😊

I love both palettes, Little Ghost really has a lot of things that I want to have on my eyes like asap, and Trick or treat feels a lot like autumn, if that makes sense, like… I saw it and my mind immediately went to caramel apples and leaves falling and feeling cosy. I really hope this will get a good run because I just can’t make a purchase that’s this sudden, but if supplies don’t last then at least I’ll be happy for you 😅 because you’re such an amazingly creative person and just over all lovely. As a lover of color too, I feel like when you release a palette, there’s so much care and artistic knowledge of color that will be present in these palettes! I’m definitely going to be getting one or both! I love the lippies too. Here’s one thing I LOVE about Oden’s eye as well: Their shimmers/metallics/duochromes have such a fine sparkle that is not only is it dimensional, it really is one of the best formulas if you have “mature” lids! I never have any extra texture brought out (I still wear it anyways if a shadow does that usually) but they always look so flattering, and I love that so much! Congratulations, Angie! Hela is one of my favorite Norse goddesses. So glad to see other Hela palettes. Both palettes look absolutely amazing. Especially the one with the blue tones is so me. These are so unique and so YOU and I love them!!! I usually do a lot more subtle makeup looks but I think I’m gonna have so much fun playing with these in my own way…pop of dark bold color as a shadow liner, some cute sparkles on the lid, pops of brights here and there…so fun!!! 🥳
