As a man who knows how to be evil, bad and uncaring all to well, it wasn't until I came to grasp that God is a forgiving God, I turned from my past and ran into the loving arms of our Father, I am a loving and giving man who has compassion for others and as it turns out I am a better person for it and now I like myself

I don't believe in god... But I do believe in the power of this message and the passion with which it's delivered. It's true, just replace "god" with whatever you want. We are children of a vast, incredible universe, and we fear the power we don't understand. We must shine and let that goodness spread to those we meet in life.

@ sharuba, I was picking this song for Whitney (rip) funeral,, and with the trouble confusion in the world, your words are strong. "As we prepare to pass in the decades to come, let us pass this light to our children" let us not grow up in ignorance. especially to the determination of an Empire, disguised as a Democracit Republic for the people. who, by the way don't believe in killing each other! I mean, isn't that what we Preach? wake up, hold hands, don't let them break the line"

"You are a child of God". Indeed, through Jesus alone. The trouble is that too many people out there like to omit that part, and search for light - or anything like it - in themselves only, where none is to be found. If there is ever a time to reflect upon the Light of This world, Christmas is it. And when you do, you may come to realize the value of that Light in a world shrouded in a darkness, so deep and permanent that we kind of got used to it. There is more to this world than meets the eye.
