ODFW and RMEF - Planting Grass for Wildlife with a Helicopter

Helping ODFW plant grass seed for wildlife that was donated by RMEF (Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation) with a Helicopter. This is going to benefit Elk, Deer, and upland game.

I noticed how the boarder collie mix herded the chopper in .. 🙂 Thank you for you and the department's good work. It would have been nice to have footage of the chopper from the air dropping seed etc. but likely FAA or rules not allowing it.. pb

Will the planted grasses out compete cheat grass? Is it possible that the sagebrush biome can return with the introduction of these other grasses?
