This is one of those songs that you somehow Can't belive were written recently . Something about that melody seems timeless ,like it must have always existed out there. That Is a great songwriting achievment damnn..

I dunno, I feel like it sounds very modern. The guitar is very modern indie, where it isnt the focus, but an accompnament for the vocals which are the focus. The vocal melody is also very modern, sort of just following the guitar. Also that very common pop insert that is in so many songs. I think Seth Evermen did a joke video about the melody titled "Whats that song called" or something like that.

Curious, was this shot on an older camera or a new camera made to look like a camcorder at the beginning?
@BarefootVisual2 жыл бұрын
@@julianzimmerman5266 older camera! Shot everything on a Sony camcorder made in the 90s I grew up with my parents using. It shoots on digital hi8 tapes and i convert it to digital using an elgato capture card.

@@BarefootVisualit’s wild to see the lo fidelity visuals with that crisp audio. Really cool choice, hi8 tapes look damn good still.

I am truly so in love with this song and have no words for how much I wish I were back home, back in Philly for the first time in a few years, just so I could see this show at the Foundry tonight and feel truly connected to the earth and art and music and humanity again while feeling amps vibrating from my feet to my collarbones for the first time in a while; if Florida is in your sights any time soon, I'll be pouncing that's for sure. Hate living just too far from the common tour circuit route for musicians I love because I'm so out of the way of the mass of America ;/

These days I've been lying about my age Pretending I am older, worser, people stay away Lately, I've been coming on too strong To men, I've never seen before and won't see me for long And I, I don't think I've changed No, and I'm too scared to stay the same So my carpets got crop circles My carpets got crop circles these days All these words of mine I've said before I'm running out of things to say, silence I can't endure Every time I think I'm done But yet, another crop of memories, it springs up in my head And I, I don't think I've changed No, and I'm too scared to stay the same So my carpets got crop circles My carpets got crop circles these days And I, I don't think I've changed No, and I'm too scared to stay the same So my carpets got crop circles My carpets got crop circles these days Here I am, I'm crying out for change Here I am, I'm crying out for change And I, I don't think I've changed And I, I don't think I've changed And I, I don't think I've changed And I, I don't think I've changed I don't think I've changed
