Grew up listening to old ass blue grass and country. Didn't like it at the time, now it's the measure that I stack all music against. This, this is more worthy than 99.99% of "country" I'm unlucky enough to hear. 10/10 and that's not enough praise.

@harveymilne16844 жыл бұрын
John Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmitt not all culture. Take folk music for example. Each country has its own distinct style of folk music. Neighbouring countries may have similar styles and instruments but one of them had to be the first to do it. It can’t have just materialised from thin air.

Me the alt centrist diverse but not richer. A lot of white people don’t know what type of European they are, black people in america have a separate culture from their ancestors, only immigrants or 1-2nd gens keep their culture. America has a weak ass culture, but at the same time a strong culture for a country less than 250 years old.

Porch lights, on distant ridges dark Rock lined valleys singing with every bark From flat water bottom to wind blown timber tall It's my land Of snakes and waterfalls 16 score and 7 years my blood's called home To all the crimson clay and the old roads that I roam This place might be curse'd after all But its my land, of snakes and waterfalls And I know That when a distant shore's before me Oh how my poor heart aches For every hollow that I forsake I've been trying to run since I could crawl But I'm bound To snakes and waterfalls And I know That when a distant shore's before me Oh how my poor heart aches For every hollow that I forsake Blue cave water and canebrakes forever call Me on home to snakes and waterfalls
