There are some modest gains on me 8g3 But a little less power per watt. 8g2 Is really I think the money spot especially when you factor in it costing less than 8g3 But it's not that big of a difference frankly. It's not like 2021 when we went from the very capable 865 and 870 chips fabricated by tsmc and then we had 2 years of absolute trash with the 8g1 and 888.

The PS Vita is one of/if not my favorite handheld and is always in my backpack because of how incredible of a performer it’s been plus the size and comfort. After the seeing the mini 2, this actually might be the first gaming handheld I am considering to buy. I think the only flaw for me is android because I rather install something else of a different OS, but I think it’s worth the trade off (I still love android)

Same. I have my steam deck and GPD but for some reason I still carry my Vita with me anywhere I go even though I rarely touch it on the trip unless my steam deck is in low battery. Ive been eyeing Odin 2 for a while now for PS2 enulation. This form factor just sealed the deal

Steam Deck 2 has to either be smaller like this or make a Steam Deck Go or Steam Deck Mini with good battery life. Right now the final limitation is battery life due to x86 architecture being akin to a big rig/gas guzzler vs ARM chips being like a sedan.

We need an Android flip console with a large 4:3 screen, like 7 inches, with a mini version of 6 perhaps. 7 inches in 4:3, for example, allows a 6.5 inch 16:9, while a 7 inch 16:9 screen only allows 5.7 in 4:3. I'm sorry but I just can't get behind Android handhelds. After having a Legion Go I just don't see the point in gaming on a Android handheld. It's not worth the games. I don't like gaming on Android. That said, when the new Qualcomm arm chip is released, the one that can run windows, I think these types of handhelds will change.

Edit: So according to this video the Odin Mini 2's brightness is at 100%. Would like confirmation on the Vita. Edit 2: I also find it a bit misleading to use two different wallpapers for the Odin 2 and Odin 2 mini when showcasing the screen. People dont really have any consistency to judge how much better the minis screen is. At best you are unintentionally misleading customers to make an ill informed choice. At worst you are intentionally misleading people with brick and mortar tactics. Do better.

​​@@droo3010 for it's time it was extremely good. It is infact way better than the regular switch or switch lite screen, despite being that "old" Also "clearer" couldn't be farther from the truth. Mini LED is known for having tons of vignetting and blooming, I know it first hand, because I used a mini LED monitor with over 1K LEDs and I was still pissed off how some content looked really bad. Like having a mouse courser on a dark background will cause a very big area around the cursor to light up too.

Request... Android tablet (or phone) that includes an HDMI out port. There are at least a few inexpensive versions readily available on Amazon, after digging for a while. Apparently some people use those for streaming movies to their big-screen TV. Easier to set up than wireless or USB C to HDMI. Seems one use that has been overlooked is for droning (no lag output to TV), that's my interest. For some strange reason, DJI and other products won't work with a hub connected to your phone/tablet. But using an Android device with HDMI output should work even better. I will find out soon...

@@droo3010 not even close, oled has muuuuuuuuuch better blacks, you would need much more dimming zones in order to match oled, mini led is a lot brighter but it is closer to VA LED panel rather than OLED

Nope, it shouldn't be over saturated if they calibrated it correctly. Even so you can adjust saturation in Android. They just list 155% because it sounds cool/might be relevant for apps that support HDR, otherwise it's just marketing junk. Though I suppose it might be possible to over saturate it if they didn't already lock it off with calibration.

Im very disappointed on the high end price side of these android handhelds, 120hz isnt standard yet. 80hz (weird but better), 90hz, even 100hz. With a mini led screen I was hoping this corner wasnt cut, but it is regardless of the screen quality. While an s23 is expensive, it's android with the same battery it last a long time. 60fps is just standard amongst these types of handhelds now, I get it's not a big company it's just going to work in the same way it did a only a few years ago when all these handheld devices were using the same chip dreamcast being difficult to emulate at the time.

Could it run PS3, Xbox360 or others originaly 16:9 games ?

There isn't any android apps atm that support those for the time being. But 16:9 shouldn't be a problem such as ps2, switch etc.
