It took an extra week, but I have the pattern / template ready: bit.ly/OMTechCW Pattern is free of course! It is sized to print on A3 paper or US Tabloid. Use Acrobat's poster setting to auto print on smaller paper. Tips are welcome- there is about 30 hours work into making the pattern usable. bit.ly/BuyOdinACoffee Or ko-fi.com/odinmakes

Hi Odin, I worked on the Clone Wars TV series as a modeler. Just wanted to say, you really nailed the "Clone Wars" look, especially the "brushy" finish! We were constantly told to be aggressive with he brushstrokes in the texture maps (which was challenging, as usually, that is something we as digital artists try to hide when hand painting texures).

Hey Odin, just thought I'd rewatch this video, I'm planning on building this helmet but instead of foam I'm going make it out of cardboard. It'll be a challenge but i know i can do it. Cardboard is my favorite material to use when making helmets. I recently made a custom Mandalorian helmet based the patterns on Din Dijarin's Helmet only it has a spiky mohawk on the top. I like making helmets they are my favorite prop to build. This Helmet video is one of my favorites of yours. I can't wait to see what you've got in store next. :)
@kaitm28312 жыл бұрын
did you end up using the pattern Odin made for cardboard?? how did it come out? ive been thinking about doing something similar but wasn’t sure how the pattern would translate to the different material lol
@jmanjonesthezombiekillinma68392 жыл бұрын
@@kaitm2831 not yet but trust me odin’s patterns and builds never fail. Some patterns work well with cardboard it just depends on the material you use but like odin says there are lots of different ways you can go about it. Good luck Kait m.

@Odinmakes how about the sacred weapons from 'The Rising of the Shield Hero". You have made swords and shields before but never a bow or spear. One suggestion if you ever decide to make them, all of the weapons have a half or whole sphere jewel on them and I would use clear plastic ornaments for holiday trees. They come in version that already divide in half so you would only need three for the four weapons, as the shield and bow only have half spheres.
