The handle of the gaffi stick incorporated a full length totokia and other versions incorporated other forms of long handled Fijian clubs. Also the length also incorporates the taiaha of the Maori people's. Apparently Temuera also uses mau rakau (a Maori martial art) in his use of the Gaffi stick

from my experience, cons do one of two things when it comes to pointy props like this one... either have something covering the spike part until you're doing a picture, OR have the spike be rounded or blunt, to reduce the risk of poking someone... and then other cons just don't allow them at all
@OdinMakes2 жыл бұрын
Mine is blunt, there is about a 5mm flat circle on the end. I am curious what my local con may say next week. As a guest, I can bring it anyway, but I am somewhat curious.

Am I the only person who hopes that boba Fett obtains some beskar and adds it to his gaffi stick. Boba seriously needs it, a Beskar weapon can seriously save your life, especially if he ever runs into someone with a lightsaber, and he's already very skilled with the gaffi stick. The mandalorian should help him get the Beskar for his gaffi stick, then they can train and spar with eachother, Beskar spear vs Beskar gaffi stick, or darksaber vs Beskar gaffi stick, either way it would be a perfect melee weapon for Boba.
