In this video I show you step by step just how I made my version of the ten rings from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Made from EVA foam, LEDs and Adafruit products!

I totally wanted to ask you, how long do the glow sticks last? I've never used them so yeah.. I still think that the glow sticks is much better compared to led's cause' it gets a bit complicated

I was gonna mention about the glow sticks but that's pretty cool (I wasn't expecting that led's could hold themselves pretty good). I wanted to know how the rings hold up with the cables, is it durable enough or do you have to be careful while you put them on, if so can you reinforce them better to strengthen them up

There is an easier circuit. Get the led strips with 4 wires: red,green,blue, ground. Hook up ground to the battery. Hook the red and green to the outputs of a single pole double throw switch. Hook that up to battery. (Leave green unhooked) no programing required and easily switch between red and blue. The advantage of the trinket is you can have them pulse or do other non-static things. Very cool build.

I think the only way to do this better would be to use a laser cutter on the center sections before you apply it to the plastizote. That might give you enough control to get that level of intricacy
