For a while, Xot rented me space in his garage for my first shop so I could start my KZbin channel, Odin Makes. Xot enjoyed watching me film, and wanted to create his own series of videos on making and using boffers. In September of 2017, we were able to get two episodes shot, but we never had the chance to edit and release those videos. On this one year anniversary, and while the veil is thin, I wanted to share the first of the videos we created together so you can all hear him talk and laugh again. I hope it helps you all to rekindle your connection to Xot.

Less than 1 minutes into your video and I'm in tears... you pay homage to your friend and mentor in the 1yr anniversary of his death AND You continue to teach and show love to the geek culture. You are True hero of this medium Odin. I've known too many friends die over the years. The only way we can help them live on is though memory. Please do more things like this. Even if your friends and teachers are still alive. Because your videos will live on long after too teach us all x

I never knew Xot. I’ve never seen this channel before. I just found it as I was searching for Boffer weapons. So I’m assuming Xot is the dude in the denim making the weapon? If that’s the case I already mourn this dude. I’m enjoying his work and this video. If this is Xot RIP my dude. Even after you’re gone you’re reaching new people. Edit: after actually finishing the episode seems to have answers my question. Xot was an awesome dude. And now he arms the after life with amazing boffers!

Mirror Universe Odin didn't seem to be such a bad sort....I just stumbled across this channel a week ago and pretty much fell in love with it. The tutorials are straight forward, and Odin has great presence. Xot looks like he would have fit in well as a regular contributor. Classy to put this video up, Odin. I thought it a fitting salute and hopefully if there are any more videos of Xot Making, you can put those up too!

Hey there ! Just passing by to say that I've been following this channel for years now and that very recently with some friends we organized a Trollball session and build ten two-handed boffer swords following this tutorial and it was hell of a fun ! The perfect mix between safety and fun. I'm surely going to do a fake Negan's baseball bat following these instructions as well. May he know where he is that his teachings made over a dozen of person happy during our event.
