I know you probably don’t care, but the “switch” on the beam saber is actually an access hatch for maintenance to get to the system that generates the I-field that contains the Mega-particles that make up the blade.

8:11 "Beam Sabers don't make lightsaber sounds." The weird thing is, from Zeta Gundam (the second Gundam series ever released) until Gundam F91 (a movie released in the early 90s), they did. It was jarring. And weird. Personally I'm glad they went back to using original sound effects.

Hey, Odin. I know it is probably not something you have seen since it is pretty niche but Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor is a great anime that you could make some interesting props from. It has two live actions movies made in America and two different anime series that were done in the 80's and mid 2000's that you might wanna check out. This might just be the absolute best Gundam cosplay I've seen so far. Such a perfect timing as well, as you finish the RX-78-2 Gundam cosplay, Japan is also finishing up with it's moving 1/1 scale, 15 meter's tall, RX-78-2 Gundam at Yokohama! Not gonna lie, the way the Gundam cosplay looks and moves reminds me a lot of robot suits that's commonly used in Tokusatsu (Power Rangers/Super Sentai, Gridman, etc) It looks wanky, but cool nonetheless. Outstanding work Odin! Looking forward for your next build!
