1:19 NO the founders did not "leave a lot of room in the Constitution for interpretation". They chose their words very carefully ensuring that the rights of the people are upheld in the government is limited in scope and power and chained down with the Declaration of Independence. But many people today do not want to honor this. So they have this very wrong idea that it's a living breathing thing.
