Just what I needed! I'm serving a friend's Road King and the spring needs replacement. This has to be the best way and you clean and service the stand as well. Had to laugh at the "Tin Man" comment. So true. Thanks.

The Jiffy Stand is the best idea for a motorcycle side stand in use today. I talk about this in a video on my channel. Not only is it safe and easy to replace the spring, but the stand locks in place to prevent the bike from rolling forward off the stand. And yes, as someone commented, the stand should not be sluggish when bringing it up. You need to see why that is. But great video, thanks.

You can see the exact moment that the brush got filled up with too much anti seize. I instinctively held all of my fingers apart and away from any piece of clothing just from seeing it. That stuff is like the pink stuff from The Cat in the Hat. It just keeps spreading no matter what you do.

I can't find an OEM spring for my 05 ultra classic. Dealer sold me a drag specialties and the bend on the end was a little too curved and I can't get it in the jiffy stand no matter what I try

That's weird. I'd be hitting up a different dealer. Seems weird that they would offer an aftermarket spring over a Harley part. Thanks for watching!

@@kalways_kustoms Moco discontinued the OEM part apparently

What kind of bike lift are are you using?
@kalways_kustoms2 ай бұрын
It's just a basic motorcycle scissor jack which you can get through amazon or ebay. They also have them at harbor freight from time to time. Like 50 bucks. Thanks for watching!

Something wrong with the spring. You shouldn't have to double kick it to make sure it us up all the way. The stand should go up tight when you first kick the stand back.

It had a small burr on the kickstand, which I ended up shaving down after the video. The kickstand works perfect. Kudos for picking up on that....lol. Thanks for watching!
